2008 Session will be held in Paris, from the 24th to the 29th of August.
The SC D2 Group Discussion will be held on the 26th of August (morning join session with SC C5 on Preferential Subject 1, and afternoon SC D2 session on Preferential Subject 2). The contributors shall meet the SC Chairman on the 25th of August to provide their presentation and be informed of the time allocated to answer the questions of the Special Report. The SC D2 Group Discussion is be centred on two Preferential Subjects: PS 1. This part of the Group Discussion will be assumed jointly with SC C5. Information and Communication Systems in the deregulation of the electric sector - Impact on the information and communication systems of the unbundling of vertically integrated companies;- Implementation of the new market oriented services;- Integration of the new Information and communication system. PS 2. Frameworks for the governance and the management of the information and communication systems in the Electric Power Utilities- Description of best practices;- Utilization of emerging standards (COBIT, ITIL, BS15000…);- Organization of the utility. During the Paris Session:
The SC D2 will have its Regular Business Meeting on the28th of August. The AGD2.03 will have a meeting on the 27th of August afternoon. The WGD2.21 will have a meeting on the 27th of August morning. The WGD2.22 will have a meeting on the 27th of August. The WGD2.23 will have a meeting on the 27th of August morning. The JWG B3/B5/D2 of RIAC will have a meeting on the 25th of August morning. |
